Crosul 15 Noiembrie

Crosul 15 Noiembrie is the most important annual sports event in Brașov, commemorating the workers from the Roman truck factory who participated in the November 15, 1987 Anti-Communist Revolt against the Ceaușescu regime. The race is a free 5 km commemorative road run open to all running enthusiasts, organized by Primăria Municipiului Brașov in partnership with Asociația 15 Noiembrie 1987 Brașov and Clubul Sportiv Împreună Pentru Mișcare. The course follows the same streets traveled by the protesters of the 1987 Brașov Revolt: Roman Truck Factory – Strada Poienelor – Calea București – County Hospital – Astra Hospital – Trei Alimentare Intersection – Wooden Church – Hidromecanica – CFR Hospital – Sala Patria – Sică Alexandrescu Theatre – Prefecture.
