Lunca Timisului CX is an international cyclocross and running event organized by EcoStuff Romania in the Urseni area, just 10 km from Timisoara. Held over two days (Saturday cyclocross + Sunday MTB & Running), the cyclocross is a UCI C1 international race (Etapa 2 a Cupei Romaniei la Ciclocross), with categories for Elite men/women, Amateurs/Masters, plus age groups (15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). The course is a classic ciclocross loop of approximately 3 km on the Timis floodplain with dike climbs, off-camber sections, contraslopes, and (when lucky) mud. Sunday hosts MTB and Running events, including KIDS races (3-14 years).
