Brasov Heroes #14
Run a few kilometres. Fund a year of good.
14 June 2026 · Brașov (Zona de agrement Lacul Noua), Brasov
Brasov Heroes isn't about your finish time — it's about who you run for. Every entry becomes a donation that powers 12–15 local causes, and everyone who crosses the start line becomes a hero of Brașov. Choose your cause, lace up, and turn one morning by the lake into real impact.

FAQ
Good questions, honest answers
How do I register?
Sign up at brasovheroes.ro/inscrie-alergator.php. During registration you pick your distance and the local cause you want to run for. Your participation fee is your donation — around 50% goes directly to your chosen cause.
What distances are there?
Short (6 km, +195 m, solo and timed), Long (8 km, +354 m, run as a team of 3–5), and Family (4 km, +187 m, untimed). There's also Heroes Week — a virtual option where you run your distance from anywhere.
Do I have to be fit or fast?
No. The obstacles are light-to-moderate and the Family course is untimed. Brasov Heroes is a charity run, not a hardcore obstacle race — finishing and funding your cause is the whole point.
Where is it and where do I park?
At Lacul Noua, the lake recreation area in Brașov. It's a green, family-friendly spot south of the city. Parking and access details are confirmed on the registration page closer to race day.
Can kids and families take part?
Yes — the 4 km Family course is untimed and made for exactly that. Bring the kids, take the obstacles at your own pace, and finish together.
What if I can't make race day?
Run Heroes Week instead — complete your distance from anywhere during the week, or simply donate. Donations stay open through June 30, so you can support a cause even after the event.
Where does my money actually go?
Around half of your fee goes directly to the local cause you choose at sign-up. The rest supports Fundația Comunitară Brașov's work running the city's giving infrastructure. Across 12+ editions, roughly 2.2 million lei has funded 135+ local projects.
Be a hero of Brașov.
