Swim the lake, run the shore — a friendly aquathlon at Budeasa

The day
Budeasa Swim & Run is an open-water aquathlon on the lake at Baza Nautică Budeasa, in Argeș county — a relaxed, community race where you swim a leg in the lake and then run along the shore. It's built to be as welcoming for a first-timer or a whole family as it is for seasoned athletes chasing a fast time.
Now in its 3rd edition, the day is organised by Asociația Club Sportiv Triatlet Pitești. With a kids' aquathlon by age group, short and long adult distances you can race solo or as a relay, a standalone 1,000 m open-water swim and a 5 km cros, there's a start line for every level.

Budeasa Swim & Run 2026 (ediția a 3-a) este o competiție de înot și alergare organizată de Asociația Club Sportiv Triatlet Pitești, la Baza Nautică Budeasa (Argeș). Programul cuprinde probe de aquatlon pentru copii și adulți, înot în apă liberă și cros.
On the day
An open-water lake swim followed straight away by a timed run — a true aquathlon.
Race the adult short and long distances on your own, or share them with a teammate as a relay.
A kids' aquathlon by age group, plus a 5 km cros and a 1,000 m swim so every level has a start.
The lake day wraps up with an awards ceremony at 14:00 for the day's categories.

Six: a kids' aquathlon by age group, an adult short aquathlon (500 m swim + 2.5 km run), an adult long aquathlon (2,000 m swim + 10 km run), a 1,000 m open-water swim, and a 5 km cros. The adult aquathlons can be raced solo or as a relay.
Yes. The adult short and long aquathlons can be done individually or as a relay — one teammate swims and the other runs. The relay entry is 300 lei per team; the individual entry is 200 lei.
Four: 7–9 (50 m swim + 500 m run), 10–12 (100 m + 1 km), 13–15 (200 m + 1.5 km) and 16–18 (400 m + 2 km). The kids' aquathlon entry is 100 lei.
