The weekend
A family weekend of sport and fun
Căsoaia Bike, Run & Fun turns the forest camp at Căsoaia into a two-day playground for the whole family. Saturday belongs to the mountain bikes — a 26 km race for the strong legs, a 12 km hobby loop and a short 4.5 km youth course — plus team games around the camp.
Sunday swaps wheels for trainers: a 20 km mountain semi-marathon, a 4.5 km cross-country run, a tourist-orientation challenge and races just for the kids. And between the two days, the camp gathers around a campfire and a live show.

Căsoaia Bike, Run & Fun este un weekend de mișcare, familie și natură la Tabăra Căsoaia (jud. Arad), în pădurile Munților Zărandului — sâmbătă curse de mountain bike, duminică alergare montană și orientare turistică, plus jocuri de echipă, foc de tabără și spectacol live.

- MTB Race — 26 km, +829 m D+ (limită 3 h; check point la km 18, zona Cârciuma, în 1,5 h) — start 10:00
- MTB Hobby — 12 km, +269 m D+ (limită 2 h, vârstă minimă 10 ani) — start 10:15
- MTB Youth (7–14 ani) — 4,5 km, +126 m D+ (limită 1 h) — start 13:30
- Cursa Kids (sub 10 ani) — cca 0,3 km, în tabără — start 14:30, toți primesc premii
Duminică, 26 iulie — alergare și orientare
- Semimaraton — 20 km, +750 m D+ (limită 4 h; punct intermediar Vf. Cârciuma la km 4) — start 10:00
- Cros — 4,5 km, +126 m D+ (limită 1 h) — start 10:15

Frequently asked
How much does it cost to enter?
Online entry is 100 lei per event (adults) until 22 July 2026, 23:59, and includes the start pack and a meal voucher. On-site entry is 150 lei per event with no start pack and closes 30 minutes before each start.
If I race both days, do I pay separately?
Yes. The Saturday MTB races and the Sunday running events are separate entries, so a full weekend of two events is paid per event.
Can I camp at Căsoaia?
Camping is not allowed inside the camp and capacity is limited. For accommodation options write to [email protected].
What ages can take part?
There's a race for every age: MTB Youth is for ages 7–14, MTB Hobby has a minimum age of 10, and Sunday adds kids' runs and a family orientation challenge.
What's included in the start pack?
Each adult online entry includes a start pack plus a meal voucher to use at the camp. On-site entries do not include the start pack.
