Crosul HOSPICE Brașov — Aleargă TU pentru EI
You run. They keep fighting.
11–12 July 2026 · Brașov, Brașov
A charity cross at the foot of Tâmpa, in the heart of Brașov. Every kilometre you run funds free palliative care for children with life-limiting illness and adults facing cancer. Run for them — “EI”, the ones HOSPICE cares for.

~30 years
of free palliative care in Romania
Who you run for
“EI” — them. The ones HOSPICE never lets fight alone.
Behind every bib number is a name. A child learning to live with an illness that won't be cured. An adult facing cancer who still wants to laugh with their family today. They are the “EI” — “them” — and they are why this cross exists.
For nearly 30 years, HOSPICE Casa Speranței has been Romania's pioneer of palliative care — comfort, dignity and presence for people with incurable illness. Pain managed. Fear met with a steady hand. Families held when holding on is hardest.
None of those patients pay a single leu. Care is free — and it stays free only because people show up. People who walk, who run, who donate, who refuse to let a stranger fight alone.
When you pin on a number here, you are not chasing a personal best. You are buying a child one more good day, an adult one more gentle night. You run; they keep fighting.
“We don't add days to life. We add life to days.” — the HOSPICE way.
Every kilometre counts
Your kilometres become days of free care
Here the entry fee is a donation and the finish line is funding. The maths is simple and it is real: the distance you cover turns directly into hours and days of free palliative care for HOSPICE patients.

Questions, answered
Where does my money go?
Every leu raised supports HOSPICE Casa Speranței's free palliative care for children with life-limiting illness and adults with cancer. Patients never pay — your entry fee and donations are what keep that care free.
How do I register?
Registration is on Team Hospice, HOSPICE's official fundraising platform (team.hospice.ro). You pick your distance, your entry fee is your donation, and you can set up a personal fundraising page to invite friends to chip in.
Which distances are there?
Seven: an 18 km mountain run (+815 m), a 10 km trail (+570 m), 4 km, 2 km, a 900 m kids' race, a 3×2 km relay, and a brand-new timed obstacle course. There's a start line for every level.
Can I take part without coming to Brașov?
Yes — run the virtual edition. Cover your distance anywhere, ask sponsors to pledge €1 per kilometre, and share your run with #alergpentruei. The kilometres still become care.
Can children and families join?
Absolutely. The 900 m kids' race has its own finish line, and the 2 km is an easy yes for families. This is a day for everyone.
We're a company — can we get involved?
Yes, and you're exactly who this cross is built for. Companies can sponsor a named distance, enter relay teams, and rally colleagues around personal fundraising pages on Team Hospice.
Where is the start and is there parking?
Everything starts and finishes on the Aleea de Sub Tâmpa, at the base of Tâmpa in Brașov — walking distance from the old town. Use the public parking around the centre and come early; the start village fills up.
Run for them.
Pick a distance, set up your fundraising page, and turn your kilometres into free care for the patients HOSPICE will never let fight alone.
