Crosul Viilor XCO brings cross-country mountain biking to the XCO track at Viile Satu Mare — a lap circuit built and maintained by members of the Pro Racers Satu Mare club. It is the final stage of the Triada Sătmăreană, after Maratonul Codrului and Duatlonul Satu Mare.

The MTB races cover every age, from short kids' loops for 5–8 and 9–12 year-olds to the full lap for juniors and Open riders, and this edition adds running races (from age 14) over one, three or five laps of the same circuit.
