The European Masters Off-Road Running Championships Rasnov 2026 (10-13 September 2026) take place in Rasnov, Romania, with the start and finish in Unirii Square below Rasnov Fortress. Organised by European Masters Athletics, the championships run alongside the Rasnov Medieval Run and bring masters athletes from across the continent into the Carpathians.

Races

  • Vertical Race — 3.7 km, +850 m (Friday 11 Sep; men 10:00, women 10:30, from the base of Lupului slope in Poiana Brasov)
  • Long Trail — 40 km, +2000 m (Saturday 12 Sep, men and women 08:30, from Unirii Square)
  • Up&Down — 12 km, +400 m (Sunday 13 Sep; men 08:30, women 09:00)

  • Opening ceremony Thursday 10 Sep at 17:00; closing ceremony Sunday 13 Sep at 16:30
  • Technical meetings the evening before each race (Vertical 10 Sep 18:30, Long Race 11 Sep 18:00)
  • Buses to the Vertical Race start in Poiana Brasov leave at 08:00 and 08:45
  • Terrain: technical Carpathian trail and hill running
