The race
Retezat Mountain Run is a high-mountain trail marathon staged inside Retezat National Park, with start and finish at the Râușor ski-slope base in Hunedoara county — gateway to a massif of glacial lakes, granite ridges and protected wilderness.
Choose your effort across four courses: 8.6, 12.8, 24.9 and 39.7 km. From a first taste of alpine running to a full mountain marathon, every line climbs out of Râușor and into the heights of Retezat.

Retezat Mountain Run (ediția a IV-a, 8 august 2026) — cursă de alergare montană în Parcul Național Retezat, cu start și finish la baza pârtiei de schi din Râușor (jud. Hunedoara). Singura cursă care te aduce pe Vârful Retezat.
