The race
One loop, ridden one to three times
The Teleferic Challenge is built around a single 16.5 km mountain loop in the Poiana Brașov resort, with start and finish at the rear car park of Teleferic Grand Hotel on Strada Poiana Soarelui 243. The lap format keeps the whole field on familiar ground — you simply commit to how many times you ride it.
Choose one lap for a short, punchy 16.5 km, two laps for a 33 km middle distance, or three laps for the full 49.5 km long course. Same trail, same finish arena, three very different challenges in the heart of the mountains above Brașov.

About the event
Ediția 2027 a concursului de MTB din Poiana Brașov organizat de Road Grand Tour, cu start și sosire în parcarea din spatele Teleferic Grand Hotel. Trei trasee de MTB (16,5 km tura scurtă, 33 km tura medie, 49,5 km tura lungă, ultimele două deschise și pentru e-bike). Noutatea ediției 2027 este introducerea probelor de alergare, pe 6,5 km și 16,5 km. Înscrierile sunt deja deschise pe RaceHub. Premii în bani pentru primele trei locuri la fiecare tură, masculin și feminin.

What to expect
Marked loop course
The 16.5 km resort loop is fully signed, with marshals at the junctions on every lap.
Chip timing
Electronic chip timing tracks each lap and posts finish-line results by category.
Feed zones
Water and supplies on the loop, refreshed each time you pass through the start arena.
Finisher reward
A finisher reward and the mountain-resort atmosphere of Poiana Brașov at the line.
