Race the Șopa singletrack
Sopa Forest Race takes over the wooded trails of Pădurea Șopa on the edge of Sibiu — a compact, spectator-friendly venue where the loops thread through pine and beech, over roots and short technical pitches.
Pick the loop that fits your season: a long marathon-style distance for the racers, a middle distance to push, and a shorter loop to discover cross-country racing without overcommitting.

About the event
SOPA FOREST RACE, editia a V-a, este competitia de mountain bike si cros din Padurea Sopa, Selimbar (Sibiu), organizata de Asociatia Calaretii Rosii cu sprijinul Primariei si Consiliului Local Selimbar. Participare gratuita, pentru toate varstele si toate nivelurile.
Trasee
- MTB - 36 km (traseu lung) si 18 km (traseu scurt), trasee tehnice prin padure
- Cross - 10 km (traseu lung) si 5 km (6 km pe vreme uscata, traseu scurt)
- Copii - cursa MTB pe categorii de varsta, cu diplome si premiere pe podium
Inscrieri
- Participare gratuita, indiferent de varsta sau nivel de pregatire
- Inscrierile s-au redeschis dupa suplimentarea locurilor si raman deschise pana la atingerea limitei de 650 de participanti
- Inscrierea se face online pe sopaforestrace.ro/inscriere; exista si un grup de WhatsApp cu detalii
Bun de stiut
- Start/Finish: Padurea Sopa, Selimbar (Sibiu), pe 5 septembrie 2026
- Medalii gratuite pentru toti participantii, realizate de COMPA din deseuri de inox reciclate, in cadrul unui proiect de economie circulara
- Premii pentru castigatori, trofee personalizate pe fiecare proba, tombola cu premii de la parteneri si foodtruck la fata locului
