Via Pontica Cross-Border Marathon (Green Foot) is a Bulgarian-Romanian cross-border running event held annually since 2016 along the Black Sea coast. The 2026 edition (7th) takes place on Sunday, September 6, 2026 with a 07:30 start. The route runs along sandy paths past Durankulak Lake and the northernmost Bulgarian beaches, then crosses into Romania through the seaside resorts of Vama Veche and 2 Mai. Distances: 28 km, 16 km and a 2 km Kids run (free of charge). Finish for all distances is on the beach near Krapets village, Bulgaria. Time limits: 4:30 h for 28 km, 3:00 h for 16 km. Supported by Shabla Municipality, Inoxsys, Limanu Municipality and Hrus-Hrus.
