A two-day, two-sport weekend in Valea Doftanei, Prahova, in the Grohotiș mountains — a 31 km Trail Run and a 5 km Sprint on Saturday, then the 31 km course on a mountain bike (MTB or eMTB) on Sunday. Race one or both.

Explore Valea Doftanei
Discover Valea Doftanei brings trail running and mountain biking together in one of Prahova's most scenic river valleys — a place of forested ridges, mountain water and quiet back-roads waiting to be explored under your own power.
Start and finish are in Trăisteni village, on Strada Valea Negrașului. Saturday belongs to the runners — the 31 km Trail Run on forest roads and mountain paths up to the ridge, or the 5 km Sprint — and on Sunday the 31 km course is raced on MTB or eMTB. A combined Trail Run + MTB entry costs less than two separate ones.

Discover Valea Doftanei 2026 este un eveniment MTB Trail & Run organizat de Asociația Club Sportiv A Pedal Forward, desfășurat în Valea Doftanei (Prahova) pe 11–12 iulie 2026. Combină probe de mountain bike, eMTB și trail run pe aceleași trasee.

Înscrieri
Înscrierile se fac online pe site-ul organizatorului. Regulamentul Trail Run și ghidul tehnic MTB/eMTB sunt disponibile pe site.
Bun de știut
Proba de Trail Run are loc pe 11 iulie, iar probele MTB/eMTB pe 12 iulie. Traseele au hărți GPS publicate (plotaroute).

What to expect
Marked routes
Courses marked with signs, eco spray paint and tape, with course marshals at the checkpoints.
Timing
Timing by a specialist company, recording every pass at the start, the checkpoints and the finish.
Refreshment points
Water and supplies on course, plus a gathering area back in the valley at the finish.
Valley atmosphere
Forested ridges, mountain water and the relaxed, exploratory spirit of the Doftana valley.
