The race
Maratonul Nordului — Teioasa Trail takes runners into Poiana Teioasa at Darabani, in the far north of Botoșani county, where the trails thread through the forest and the start gathers at the Chirica Pușcașu stadium clearing.
It runs as part of Zilele Nordului, a festival of music and community life — so the race weekend pairs forest singletrack with concerts, camping and a northern-Romania atmosphere. The course is open to seasoned trail racers and first-timers alike.
