Road racing on closed streets in Focșani
Turul Vrancei Rikora is a stage of the National Road Cup (Cupă Națională Șosea), organised by AlphaMind Cycling Team. Start and finish are in Piața Unirii, in the heart of Focșani — a closed-road city start with the atmosphere of a proper road race.
Two routes fan out into the hills of Vrancea wine country: a fast 78 km and a demanding 128 km. With more than 40,000 RON on the line and category classifications from amateurs to elites, it rewards both the ambitious first-timer and the seasoned racer.

About the event
Turul Vrancei Rikora este etapa de Cupă Națională seniori pe șosea organizată de ACS Alpha Mind. Ediția 2026 se mută la Cîrligele, jud. Vrancea, cu start și sosire în fața Primăriei comunei, pe un circuit rutier de cca 35 km parcurs de mai multe ori.
Trasee
- Tura lungă — 112 km, +1.330 m. Doar sportivi licențiați masculin: U19, U23, Elite.
- Tura scurtă — 78 km, +908 m. Licențiați U17, Master și Amatori; nelicențiați pe grupe 16-29, 30-39, 40-49 și 50+ (M/F). Fetele pleacă cu un decalaj de 5 minute.
- Tura Paracycling — 46 km, +439 m, pe grupele din regulamentul FRC/UCI.
Înscrieri
- Licențiați: online pe alphamind.ro până pe 30 iulie 2026, ora 16:00.
- Nelicențiați: online până în preziua concursului, sau la fața locului în ziua cursei.
- Contribuție: 150 lei până pe 1 iulie, 170 lei între 1–31 iulie, 250 lei în ziua concursului.
Bun de știut
- Start/finish: în fața Primăriei Comunei Cîrligele; race office lângă grădiniță.
- Ședință tehnică: 1 august, ora 9:00, în sala Căminului Cultural.
- Startul tehnic se dă la km 4, după virajul la stânga la Blidari pe DJ205B; check point la intersecția DJ205C cu DC146.
- Traficul este restricționat, nu închis complet. Casca este obligatorie. Depanarea se face pe cont propriu, coloana fiind închisă de mașina mătură.

Which route and category should I choose?
There are two routes. The short route (78 km, 350 m) starts at 10:15 for Cadets, Junior women, Amateurs and Master. The long route (128 km, 1,275 m) starts at 10:00 for U23, Elite Men, Junior men, and Amateurs + Master. Pick by your category and the distance you want to race.
Where do the routes start and finish?
Both routes start and finish in Piața Unirii in central Focșani (B-dul Brăilei 11), on a closed-road city start.
When does registration close?
Registration closes on 1 August 2026, the day of the race. We recommend entering early, as fees rise closer to the event.
What are the entry fees, and is there a jersey option?
Adult entry is 150 / 170 / 250 RON depending on the registration window; kids are 70 / 100 RON. An optional event jersey or vest is available for 120 RON.
What prizes are on offer?
Over 40,000 RON in total prizes, offered by Consiliul Județean Vrancea and awarded across the race categories.
Is the race open to amateurs?
Yes. Both routes have Amateur and Master categories alongside the elite and U23 classes, so it is open to amateurs and elites alike.
