The race
The Teleferic Challenge is built around a single 16.5 km mountain loop in the Poiana Brașov resort, with start and finish at the rear car park of Teleferic Grand Hotel on Strada Poiana Soarelui 243. The lap format keeps the whole field on familiar ground — you simply commit to how many times you ride it.
Choose one lap for a short, punchy 16.5 km, two laps for a 33 km middle distance, or three laps for the full 49.5 km long course. Same trail, same finish arena, three very different challenges in the heart of the mountains above Brașov.

The 16.5 km resort loop is fully signed, with marshals at the junctions on every lap.
Electronic chip timing tracks each lap and posts finish-line results by category.
Water and supplies on the loop, refreshed each time you pass through the start arena.
